Midwest Territory Manager
inBarn, is seeking a talented and driven Territory Account Manager to join our team in the Midwest area of the US. This is a position is remote based. inBarn is a leading distributer for dairy cow comfort products for the dairy industry in Canada, the US, and the further.
Please note: You must be located in the US Mid-West to be considered for this role, preferably located in Wisconsin, Iowa, or Illinois.
The Position
You are a seasoned account manager with a focus on sales, with a background in the dairy and/or broader farming industry. In your role as a Territory Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our dealer network & mid to large dairy farms. The successful candidate will participate in regular meeting with dealers, provide forecasts for sales budgets, assist with quoting, uncover new sales opportunities, liaise with our Senior Dairy Consultant to address sales opportunities, and ensure our CRM is current.
What You Need
Ideally, you will demonstrate the following:
- A willingness to be part of a team that is building a great organization that focuses on taking care of its customers and team members.
- A willingness to learn, learn about the animal, about the product, and about the process.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in territory or key account management, ideally within the dairy and/or broader farming or related industry.
- A knowledge of the region and key accounts in that region.
- Dairy or dairy sales experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to effectively use and manage a CRM to maximize sales opportunities.
- Previous experience with a dealer network.
- Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to develop rapport with key stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset and ability to work independently.
- You are a good at communication with company & clients.
- Advanced level proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with social media platforms and a knack for identifying and pursuing target markets.
